Missing, Murdered, Mishandled: Systemic Racism in Canada's Justice System?

Can Indigenous people get fair treatment in Canada’s policing and courts system? Three high profile murder cases in Canada have highlighted the harsh reality of our justice system when it comes to Indigenous people. The outcome of each case has led to angry protests and cries of racism in our policing and courts; and in two cases, a review of how the case was handled by police. Is the system blatantly racist against the Indigenous? Or is justice blind? We examine the three cases and their outcomes.
