Ojibwe Stories

This video introduces Ojibwe stories. Each story relates the history and culture of the Ojibwe people. The stories are told by First Nation narrators. The stories are illustrated through re-enactment footage, wildlife, and still drawings. The stories can be used as stand-alones or combined to provide a more comprehensive view of the Ojibwe people. The stories include: The Origin of Turtle Island, Migration, Gifts of the Grandfathers, Four Hills of Life, Origin of Midewiwin and Pakawis. The stories are told in Ojibwe with English subtitles and each video is 2-3 minutes in length.
