Celia Deschambeault is from Cumberland House, Saskatchewan in Treaty Five Territory. She is married and is a mother of 8 children. She is a curriculum and resource developer. She has worked in the area of Education for the past 20 years with a particular focus on Language revitalization. She holds a Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Education and is a PHD Candidate in the area of curriculum and instruction. Her passion lies with supporting Indigenous people with their pursuit in language programming and creating resources. Her current work includes creating an avenue of prioritizing Indigenous knowledges as a foundation for Indigenous education.
